Kay Abramowitz has 24 years’ experience providing counsel to individuals and business owners on asset protection and wealth preservation through estate planning, estate and trust administration, entity formation and business planning. Kay’s special focus is in advising family-owned businesses. She chairs the Wealth Preservation Group and the Family-Owned Business Group for Ater Wynne. She also edits the firm's Family-Owned Business Blog. Kay is a frequent lecturer and is recognized for her expertise in succession and transfer issues found in family-owned businesses. Kay has advised clients regarding probate avoidance trusts, tax planning trusts, special needs and special purpose trusts. She does planning for non-citizen spouses. Kay has helped clients create family foundations, charitable remainder trusts and endowments.
