May 28, 2009 - Exploring the unique aspects of managing and advising family-owned businesses will be the focus of Ater Wynne LLP’s newest business law blog: The Family-Owned Business Blog, to be launched June 1, 2009. Members of the firm’sFamily-Owned Business Practice Group will host the online journal.
The Family-Owned Business Blog has been developed as a resource for stakeholders of family-owned businesses and their advisors. “We’ll explore best practices for success at the intersection of family, management and ownership in these businesses,” explains blog editor, Kay Abramowitz, chair of the Family-Owned Business Practice Group.
The blog covers current issues critical to family-owned businesses including succession and estate planning, family dynamics, and selling the business, as well as general business law topics such intellectual property, compensation, tax, and litigation.
