Regulatory Proceedings Ater Wynne participates on a regular basis in cases before the Public Utility Commissions of Alaska, Oregon and Washington. We have also participated in proceedings in California, Idaho, Nevada, and Utah. Our representation has included lobbying on telecommunications legislation before state legislatures, as well as administrative and civil litigation. Our attorneys have experience with the FCC in both regulation and policy development. We have won precedent-setting telecommunications cases, including the landmark court decision establishing that there is no monopoly on local telephone service in the State of Washington.
