Kirk W. Smith is an effective negotiator and creative problem solver who helps real estate clients resolve issues, negotiate complex transactions and contracts, and develop financing solutions. He has more than 20 years’ experience in all aspects of real estate, finance, redevelopment and business transactional law. Kirk is senior counsel in Ater Wynne’s Real Estate and Finance Group.
Kirk’s clients include local and international real estate developers, national manufacturers and small private companies, foundations, and school districts. He has experience solving complex title and hazardous material problems, and preparing acquisition documents, leases, loan documentation and opinion letters, and disposition and development agreements. Clients like his ability to assess a situation, implement swift measures to resolve issues and think outside the box to complete projects.
Kirk speaks Swedish and has studied international trade and finance in Stockholm, Sweden.
