ATER WYNNE ACHIEVES SUSTAINABILITY AT WORK’S GOLD CERTIFICATION
Ater Wynne is pleased to announce it has, once again, achieved Sustainability at Work’s Gold Certification for its outstanding leadership in making Portland one of the cleanest, most sustainable cities in the country. Ater Wynne had previously achieved the Gold Certification when the City of Portland Sustainability at Work program began in 2013.
To earn this honor, Ater Wynne’s Green Team completed numerous actions to benefit our local economy, our community and our environment, which were verified during an onsite visit with a City of Portland Sustainability at Work Advisor.
Ater Wynne’s significant achievements include the following:
improved the energy efficiency of our business operations
provided alternative transportation options for employees
implemented a robust waste reduction and recycling program
computer monitors are turned off every evening
personal waste baskets removed from all offices
bike based services are used for local deliveries

Sustainability at Work offers comprehensive, free resources and expertise for Portland organizations seeking to create a more sustainable workplace. These services are tailored to help each business conserve resources, improve efficiency, save money and provide a healthy and quality workspace for employees. To recognize and promote the work of businesses that have taken comprehensive and concrete actions to reduce carbon emissions, Sustainability at Work provides certification that is valid for three years (2016 to 2019).
